• New patient autism spectrum disorder assessment: maximum $1,000.  Typical fees (can change based on complexity and previous assessments):
  • Under 5 years of age $400
  • 5-6 years of age $550
  • 7+ years of age $900
• Established patient autism spectrum disorder assessment: $500
• There is a $100 materials fee for autism assessments.  If your child has recent testing (including IEP), then this fee may be reduced to $50, but you must upload testing documents to the portal within a week of scheduling.
• New patient over 2 years of age: $400 (90 minute appointment)
• Follow up appointments: $250 (45 minutes appointment)

If you are a patient with Johnson County Infant Toddler Services, we do offer special rates in coordination with their autism assessment team.  If your child has an educational diagnosis of autism and needs the medical component, the assessment will likely be less expensive based on what measures school performed.

All controlled substances (ADHD medications) require a visit every 3 months.  Best practice for other medications is usually the same, though this will be discussed with you.
